Our Commitment to Customer Excellence

At Cangshan Cutlery Company, we are committed to delivering precision, performance, and peace of mind. That is why every Cangshan knife is backed by a Limited Lifetime Warranty against defects in materials and/or craftsmanship. This warranty is valid for the lifetime of the original purchaser, as long as the knives are used for standard food preparation and maintained according to our care guidelines.

Warranty Coverage

Our warranty covers defects in materials and/or craftsmanship that impact the performance of your knife. If your knife fails to perform as intended due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll make it right—because your experience matters.

Warranty Exclusions

This warranty does not cover the following:

  • Damage from normal wear and tear.
  • Damage due to dropping, which can result in bent tips and/or cracked or broken blades.
  • Damage caused by acts of God (e.g., fire, flood).
  • Rust, discoloration, or damage from prolonged exposure to moisture.
  • Damage due to improper storage or misuse (e.g., cutting non-food materials).
  • Damage resulting from neglect or theft.
  • Damage resulting from improper use of sharpening tools or use of non-recommended sharpening tools or services.
  • Any issues with wooden components, as wood is a natural material sensitive to environmental conditions.

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original owner.

Care Reminder

Prolonged exposure to moisture, high heat, or harsh cleaning agents (such as those found in dishwashers) can permanently damage your knife. To maintain performance and appearance, we strongly recommend hand washing and drying immediately after each use.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your knife is defective and may be covered under warranty, please email our Customer Experience Team at info@cangshancutlery.com with the following details:

  • Your full name and mailing address.
  • A description of the issue and the item number (found on the knife blade).
  • Proof of purchase (receipt preferred; if unavailable, we will still work with you).
  • Clear photos showing the issue.

In most cases, we can assess your claim based on the above requirements. If needed, we may request that you send the knife in for further inspection.

What to Expect Next

Once we receive your claim, we will confirm receipt and outline the next steps. If your item qualifies under warranty, we will replace it with the same model or one of equal value. If the item has been discontinued, we may offer a comparable alternative. Most claims are processed within one week.
